Caught It - LoL

A song

[Verse 1]

It started like it always does,

A spark, a surge, a tightening buzz,

Body leaned before I knew,

Old familiar point of view.

Then something clicked without a plan,

A pause that wasn’t mine to command.

[Chorus]

I caught it. I laughed. not me, not mine,

Just a crack in the old storyline,

The wave broke early, lost its claim,

Nothing left to blame or name.

[Verse 2]

I looked for who was doing this,

Who owned the laugh, who owned the shift,

Found sensations, warmth and space,

But no one home to sign the case.

Thought came late, tried to say,

“I did that,” but it didn’t - no way.

[Chorus]

I caught it. I laughed. soft and clear,

Recognition showing up right here,

No hero, no control to prove,

Just an old groove that wasn’t proof.

[Bridge]

Habits fade when they don’t complete,

Stories fall when they lose their seat,

Ownership melts in simple seeing,

Nothing extra, just this being.

[Final Chorus]

I caught it. I laughed. that’s the win,

Not stopping storms, just not stepping in,

Each time it’s seen, the pathway thins,

A quieter life slowly begins.

[Outro]

Not me doing better.

Just less pretending someone’s there.
